2015 New Year's Resolution: Stop Eating Out

TGIF / Fortune Cookies / Cheesecake Factory / Kaisen Kaiten / Bear Flag / Din Tai Fung / Momma's pho / Black Angus Steakhouse / Snacks from a friend / Pho 98 / Portillo's Hot Dogs / My sister's Thanksgiving dinner / Denny's / Chipotle & Jamba Juice / Kaju Tofu / Whole Foods / Starbucks / Bucca Di Beppo / Homemade Gingerbread House / My sister's homemade hot chocolate (with homemade marshmallows) / Market Broiler / BBQ Chicken (Korean) / A mini breakfast I made myself / Full Moon Sushi

I cannot even begin to tell you how awful my spending habits are. I quite literally spend more money going out and eating with friends than I do shopping for anything else. In fact, if I had to pick between what are my favorite places to shop at, they would all be grocery stores! Towards the end of 2014 and even at the start of 2015, all I have been doing is eating out. While it is amazing to get out of the house, I realize now it has done nothing good for my wallet. My only new year's resolution is to dive back to my old cooking habits and learn to eat at home. Not only would it save me more money in the long run, but at least I will know what is also going into my meals. Here is to an easy resolution to follow up on and for many delicious homemade meals! Have a Happy Day

Today's post is dedicated to all my friends out there who are just not having it today. We cannot be happy all the time. There will be times when we just want to rip every strand of hair off our head or better yet, just take out our anger out on someone. There will be days when you never want to get out of bed because you dread the events that will take place once you leave your safe zone. But you are not alone and you will get through it all.

Change is needed

It has come to my attention that I have not been the healthiest eater out there. A part of me wants to blame the fact that I do not wake up early enough to beat my mother to the kitchen as she cooks what she craves and makes two portions worth. This means I have no choice but to eat it lest I waste food because I know she will not eat two portions of it. The other part of me feels like it is because I have awful time management skills and because of it I do not have time to run to the grocery store to get proper ingredients to make a healthy meal. This post is proof for you, future Michelle, of reasons why you need to change your diet.
